We’ll teach you how to create crisp, buttery peanut brittle infused with our farm-grown lavender for a unique and delicious twist on a classic treat. You’ll learn the secrets to achieving the perfect texture and flavor, along with tips for cooking sugar to the ideal stage. Each guest will make their own batch to take home and share — if you don’t eat it first! Chef Duane S. Ridl’s culinary journey began long before earning his Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts from the prestigious Scottsdale Culinary Institute, where he graduated summa cum laude. With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the kitchen, Duane has dedicated his life to perfecting the art of cooking through one guiding principle — it’s all about the technique.
